Right of Withdrawal Requests

Under EU consumer protection legislation, consumers generally have a statutory right to withdraw from certain online purchases within 14 days.

Important: GastroLife test kits are custom-prepared products assembled specifically for each individual order. As such, they fall within the exemption from the statutory right of withdrawal for goods that are made to order or clearly personalised.

Each kit is prepared specifically for the customer and includes customer-specific laboratory documentation, registration materials, instructions, identification components, and other bespoke contents required for processing and analysis.

If you wish to cancel an order, please contact GastroLife as soon as possible after placing your order.

Where a kit has not yet entered the preparation, assembly, or dispatch process, we will review your request and, where applicable, process a cancellation as per our cancellation policy.

Once a test kit has entered the preparation, assembly, fulfilment, or dispatch process, the order is considered a custom-prepared product and is generally not eligible for cancellation under the statutory right of withdrawal applicable to standard consumer goods.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights in relation to goods that are damaged, defective, faulty, or supplied incorrectly. If you believe there is an issue with your order, please contact us and we will work with you to resolve the matter promptly.
